Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data the BeastAI app (“BeastAI”, “we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and your choices. We collect only what we need to run the app and never sell your data.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you sign in with Apple, we receive a user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address. You can choose to hide your email via Apple’s private relay.

Content you create

Photos, workout summaries, captions, comments, likes, and follows that you post in the community feed. This content is stored so we can display it in the app.

Device & technical data

A push notification token (to deliver notifications) and standard diagnostic data. We use analytics and crash-reporting tools (Mixpanel, Firebase, Sentry, and Branch) to understand usage and fix problems.

Subscriptions

Subscription status is managed through Apple and RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment details — those are handled by Apple.

2. Health & Fitness Data

Heart rate, calories, and other workout metrics from Apple Health (HealthKit) stay on your device and in Apple Health. We do not upload your HealthKit data to our servers and never use it for advertising.

3. How We Use Your Data

• to provide the community feed and your account;
• to deliver notifications you opt into;
• to operate, secure, and improve the app;
• to respond to support requests and enforce our rules.

4. How We Share Data

We share data only with service providers that help us run the app — Supabase (backend, database, and storage), Apple (authentication and notifications), and the analytics providers listed above — bound to process it on our behalf. Public content you post (e.g. feed posts) is visible to other users. We do not sell personal data.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account from within the app (Settings → Delete account); this removes your profile, posts, photos, comments, and associated files from our database and storage.

6. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your data. To make a request, contact support@beastai.app. Depending on your region, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR.

7. Children

BeastAI is not directed to children. The community features require users to be at least 17 years old.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including row-level security on our database and encrypted connections, to protect your data. No method of transmission is 100% secure.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
